prayers. As a first step towards fulfillment of that long cherished desire of the devotees, the Annual Genera! Body Meeting held in 1988 elected me - the Vice President, as the Chairman of the Guru Mandiram Committee to ensure the construction of the Mandirarn. Most enthusiastically, i accepted this assignment, and as a humble contribution, donated Guru s statue and the marble required for the construction of the Mandiram. While Shin M.B Chandran contributed for the foundation, the late Shri R. Sadanandan and many othei followers and well-wishers of Shree Narayana Guru, helped in the cr- '<on oi tne Mandiram. in the best possible ways The foundation stone of the Gurumai MM ,,,,, .vas laid by the founder President late Shri K.K Vishwanathan himself and this land mark event took place on 6th January 1989, in the presence of a large number of dignatories luminaries, followers and a cross section of the general public. The construction was taken UD in April 1989 and it' s first phase was completed in 1992. The statue installation was religiously done on the Chathayam Day, the Htn September 1992, in the presence of a huge gathering of saints, devotees and followers. The construction of the Mandiram in its today' s shape (better than the proposed plan) was finally completeo and fully dedicated to the devotees on the Chathayam Day, in 1996.
Gurumandiram today radiates Guru' s spiritual message through rays and blessings on each and everyone who enters the Mission for educational, socio-economical, prosperous, spiritual and peaceful persistent living.
