THE VIDYAMANDIRAM (SCHOOL)
Guru had many teachings
for the masses, each better than the other, to eradicate
the evils of ignorance and superstition, the prominent of
them being "Enlightenment through Education",
"Education is the Ultimate Wealth" and "Educational
Institutions are the Supreme Place of Worship"—to
quote a few. To-day, we have before us Shree Narayana Guru
Vidyalaya—a Higher Secondary School imparting education
in both English and Gujarati mediums and having a strength
of nearly 3000 students, to meet the socio economic oriented
educational needs.
While we are proud of our achievement in the Educational
front the guidance rendered by Late Prof. S.R. Thakore is
always remembered.
As part of our continued commitment to education, we are
proud to inaugurate, on this Guru Jayanti Day, a new pre-primary
school building poised to provide ultra modern infrastructure
and teaching facilities. This spacious building is named
after the founder President of the Mission, late Shri K.K.
Vishwanathan in recoginition of his imemorable service in
propagating Guru' s teachings and philosophy.
